CognitiveScale Collaborates with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
CognitiveScale was cited in HealthcareDIVE for its work in disease management because of its development of a Cognitive Cloud that has the ability to deliver actionable insights to people living with chronic conditions. Doctors can then use those insights to better understand their patients’ conditions and create personalized care. CognitiveScale has focused a large part of its business in healthcare in helping the industry make sense of large data in order to put the patient at the center of healthcare.
HealthcareDIVE reported that Utah’s Intermountain Healthcare incorporated CognitveScale’s Cognitive Cloud in a program that helps teens who are living with Type 1 diabetes move towards self-care as adults. The program was developed to reduce hospitalizations and ensure better outcomes for patients.
HealthcareDIVE highlighted CognitiveScale’s collaboration with M. D. Anderson Cancer Center:
“In February, the two-year-old startup teamed with the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center on a multiyear initiative to use cognitive computing to speed up healthcare decisionmaking, enhance the patient experience, and boost staff productivity.”
In this and other ventures, CognitiveScale has been able to showcase the potential of AI-powered cloud computing: its affordability, ease of adoption, and impact on patients’ everyday lives.
